Welcome to Ascension!
The Church of the Ascension is a diverse and welcoming Episcopal Church located in Chicago’s vibrant Gold Coast neighborhood. Part of the world-wide Anglican Communion, we are grounded in rich Anglo-Catholic traditions in which we encounter God’s abundant grace and love for us and for the world. Wherever you are in your life with God – hesitant searcher or long-time churchgoer – we pray that you may find a spiritual home with us at the Church of the Ascension. Please join us soon, either in person or remotely via our live-stream on Facebook and YouTube.

Volunteers Welcome
Ascension is now serving as a host for the "shop" initially set up by St. Chrysostom's to provide necessities for newly arrived migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. You can read more about the program here, about how this ministry fits into the larger efforts of Chicago churches to address the crisis here, and about our parish's involvement here. More information on how you can donate items for the shop and/or volunteer can be found here.
