Flower Arranging Workshop

Members of the Ascension Flower Guild will gather for an educational workshop on Saturday, May 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Ana Nicol, Project Coordinator for Renny Events, will be demonstrating how to use some larger flowers—gladiolas, lilies, hydrangeas, gerbera daisies—in spring and summer arrangements. Many of these flowers are available at local farmers' markets and can be used to make dramatic arrangements. We will be utilizing the workshop to design 5-6 vases of flowers for our celebration of Pentecost on Sunday, May 24. The Flower Guild would love to welcome some new members. This workshop provides an excellent opportunity to learn the basics of flower arranging.
